I started this blog primarily to have an outlet to do something I love doing: writing. Turns out people all over the world really like it. Over the years I’ve really enjoyed it most when I get to hear from those who are reading. So please, feel free to comment or email me anytime!

I invited Jerry to be the Camp Speaker for a week-long camp for students and I was the Camp Pastor. Fast forward another year, and I invited Jerry to be our speaker at the very first Young Adult Retreat we were hosting at our church. What I quickly learned about Jerry from the start is that he is not only passionate about Jesus and reaching this generation, but he is one of the most humble and authentic Pastors you will meet. He’s not the guy in the room drawing attention to himself, but rather spends his minutes making sure people feel seen, heard, and valued. He preaches with integrity, asks the hard questions, takes the time to listen, sits in the messiness, and continually points people towards the Jesus that has changed his life. He is kind, compassionate, and continues to put in the hard work to understand this generation. He is the real deal and I am so grateful to call him my friend.

Jerry is a very caring leader who always brings a fresh and thoughtful point-of-view to any conversation, problem, or goal. He is skilled in building relationships with others, no matter their background, and genuinely desires to serve them by elevating the relationship to their benefit.
Jerry is very successful at building long-lasting and successful teams. He provides clear and compelling goals while equipping and empowering teammates to achieve them. He is also a very engaging author and subject matter expert in ministry. His written work brings the same entertaining and engaging voice as his public speaking; his writing challenges the reader to test their assumptions, be open to new possibilities, and always seek truth for the sake of themselves and as well as others.
Jerry is a caring and professional teammate who genuinely desires the best for others and for the organization. He makes the work environment a better place, he elevates his team mates to be better at their jobs and as people, and he succeeds for the sake of the organization.
